Celebrate Halloween with a slightly spooky annual concert for children and adults at Coquitlam’s Place des Arts.

Coquitlam Market

Grab your grocery bags and tour the parking lot next to Dogwood Pavilion in Coquitlam (1655 Winslow Ave.) for the weekly Poirier Street Farmers Market, which is on from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Talk to the vendors, and learn about where their food comes from and how it’s made.

Slightly Spooky Songs

Parents and little ones can enjoy Mr. I’s annual Halloween concert at Place des Arts (1120 Brunette Ave., Coquitlam). From 1 to 2 p.m., families can dress up in Halloween costumes, sing songs and hear stories about Halloween. Tickets are $10 via Eventbrite.ca.

Halloween Skate

Lace up your skates and snap on your helmet for the City of Port Coquitlam’s Halloween Skate, on from 2:30 to 4 p.m. at the Port Coquitlam Community Centre (2150 Wilson Ave.).

Middle Raged

See Geri Hall and Gary Pearson whip it up in Middle Raged, a show at 7:30 p.m. at the Evergreen Cultural Centre in Coquitlam (1205 Pinetree Way). Hall, a Gemini Award winner, is best known as a regular on This Hour Has 22 Minutes while Pearson is a writer whose has contributed to MadTV, 22 Minutes and Corner Gas. Tickets are $37/$34/$16.
