PoCo Bowl (2263 McAllister Ave.) hosts a free bowling as part of the Downtown BIA Harvest Festival. Enjoy a game, free popcorn and slushies and have a chance to win a prize from downtown businesses. Today's event is from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Halloween Treats
Kids ages five to 14 can spend their Pro-D Day decorating cupcakes and making a Halloween craft at Mackin House in Coquitlam (1116 Brunette Ave.) with members of the Coquitlam Heritage. The cost is $8 per student and the event runs in two age-appropriate sessions, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Legion Tunes
Get your dancing shoes on to boogie to the tunes from Whiskey Bent, which will play the Royal Canadian Legion in Coquitlam (1025 Ridgeway Ave.) starting at 7 p.m. There is a cover charge for non-members on Friday night, but not Saturday.

Pull on your Coquitlam Express jersey and cheer the hometown hockey team as it battles Powell River at 7 p.m. at the Poirier Sport and Leisure Complex (633 Poirier St., Coquitlam). Meanwhile, the Port Moody Panthers face the Port Coquitlam Trailblazers in a game at the Port Coquitlam Community Centre (2150 Wilson Ave.) at 7 p.m. Wear pink for the Breast Cancer Awareness Night.
