Volunteer Fair
Find out how to better connect with the community at a volunteer fair hosted by Community Volunteer Connections. Organizations and non-profit groups will have information about how you can help with online and in-person activities in the Tri-Cities. It’s a great way for seniors to get out and high school students to earn volunteer credits for graduation. The event from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Port Coquitlam Community Centre (2150 Wilson Ave.) is free to attend.

Quilters' Guild
The Blue Mountain Quilters' Guild presents its 2023 Quilt Show "Together Again" at Maple Creek Middle School in Port Coquitlam (3700 Hastings St.) today from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Entry is $10 cash; no cost for kids under 12. Proceeds from this year's raffle quilt will support the Talitha Koum Society and Tri-City Transitions Society. This year, the guild has donated more 330 quilts to local organizations.

Salmon Come Home
Visit the Hoy Creek Hatchery in Coquitlam for the annual Salmon Come Home event from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. The Hoy–Scott Creek Watershed Society and the City of Coquitlam host the family-friendly event at the hatchery, which is located north of Princess Gate.
