Seniors fair

Older residents in the Tri-Cities are invited to a seniors safety showcase at the Port Coquitlam Community Centre (2150 Wilson Ave.) from 1 to 4 p.m. Sponsored by the Tri-City News, Inlet Hearing and the Tri-Cities Seniors’ Action Society, the event is free to visitors and features information about frauds, scams and road traffic.

Circus time

Circo Osorio returns with its big top to the Coquitlam Centre mall (2929 Barnet Hwy.) for family-friendly shows until Oct. 28. The tent is located kitty corner to H&M.

Opening Night

Stage 43 opens its 2024–25 season with Opening Night, a comedy by Norm Foster, at the Evergreen Cultural Centre in Coquitlam (1205 Pinetree Way). The play at 7:30 p.m. is directed by Tiffany Markwart. Tickets are $30/$25.
