Taylor Swift will be in Vancouver in December 2024 to conclude her Eras Tour.

Five lucky residents in Coquitlam and Port Coquitlam are off to see a Taylor Swift concert in December after winning a Rogers contest.

Coquitlam’s Julie Kuo and Robert Weagle, as well as Dorothy Duncan, Scott Houston and Tabatha Foxe of Port Coquitlam, are among the Metro Vancouver winners who will receive tickets to one of pop princess’ Vancouver shows.

Swift is ending her worldwide Eras tour at BC Place with three performances on Dec. 6, 7 and 8 featuring opening act Gracie Abrams.

Rogers is the presenting sponsor of Swift’s two Canadian dates in Vancouver and Toronto.

In a news release, a company spokesperson said the winners provided “heartwarming stories of how Taylor Swift’s music has impacted their lives.”

Swift, who is dating Travis Kelce, a tight-end with the Kansas City Chiefs football team, started her 149-show Eras Tour last March in Arizona; it is the first tour in history to surpass US $1 billion in revenue.

Her concerts typically run over 3.5 hours and highlight more than 40 songs split in album categories or “Eras.”

In April, Swift dropped an album called The Tortured Poets Department, her 11th studio release, of which some songs reference her relationship with Kelce.

Among its 31 tracks are:

  • “I Can Do It with a Broken Heart”
  • “Fortnight” (featuring Post Malone)
  • “Florida!!!” (featuring Florence and the Machine)
  • “So Long, London”
  • “The Smallest Man Who Ever Lived”
