Witness call after late-night fight outside Port Coquitlam pub

The brawl on Sunday, Nov. 10 outside the Cat & Fiddle Pub sent one person to hospital with non-life threatening injuries, Coquitlam RCMP say.

Mounties are calling for witnesses to a fight outside a Port Coquitlam pub early Sunday, Nov. 10 to step forward.

Police say they were tipped off about a physical altercation between two men outside the Cat & Fiddle Sports Bar and Restaurant (1979 Brown St.) at around 1:54 a.m.

Paramedics rushed to hospital an adult victim with non-life threatening injuries, Coquitlam RCMP stated in a news release issued today, Nov. 14.

Coquitlam RCMP’s General Investigation Section is now conducting the investigation; no arrests have been made.


Police are asking for anyone who saw the fight and/or who may have filmed the area on dash cam or cellphone footage — between 1:45 and 2 a.m. on Sunday, Nov. 10 — to call Coquitlam RCMP at 604-945-1550 and quote file number 2024-29837.
