The 101st May Days parade is on Saturday, May 11, 2024, at 11 a.m. on Shaughnessy Street in downtown Port Coquitlam.

There’s only a week left until the streets are lined in downtown Port Coquitlam for the 101st Rotary May Day Parade.

And the city is giving residents a chance to win four VIP seats to view the procession — along with drinks and snacks.

To enter, "Like" the city’s post on Facebook, Instagram or Twitter that promotes the contest, comment and tag the three people you’ll have seated with you at the parade.

The contest closes at midnight on Thursday, May 9; the winner will be chosen at random.

Meanwhile, also for May Days, residents have a chance to win a $50 gift card to a Port Coquitlam business of their choice.

Find the photo stations at the Port Coquitlam Community Centre (2150 Wilson Ave.) and Hyde Creek Recreation Complex (1379 Laurier Ave.), take a picture and post it online with the city’s social media handle.
