Virago Nation

The critically acclaimed Virago Nation takes over the Evergreen Cultural Centre (1205 Pinetree Way, Coquitlam) on National Indigenous Peoples Day for an 18+ all-Indigenous burlesque show. A reception is at 6:30 p.m. while the performance is at 7:30 p.m. Tickets are $39/$35/$16.

PoCo Saints

Grab a seat at the Port Coquitlam Community Centre (2150 Wilson Ave.) for a 7 p.m. lacrosse match between the Port Coquitlam Saints versus the Langley Thunder.

LOVE: A Musical

Enjoy the last run of the IOCO Players Theatre as it closes its company with their final production, LOVE: A Musical Theatre Concert Live Event. Featuring the songs of Andrew Lloyd Webber, the show runs for eight performances — including tonight at 7 p.m. — at the Inlet United Church at The Springs (2315 Spring St., Port Moody). Tickets are $30 online or $32 at the door (cash only). Directed by Mike Arseneault with musical direction from Kylie Lorenzana Fonacier, the concert features a live band.

Legion music

Dance to the music of Under Fire, which plays at the Coquitlam branch of the Royal Canadian Legion (1025 Ridgeway Ave.) from 7 to 11 p.m.

Barracuda

The Heart tribute band Barracuda performs at the Inlet Theatre (inside Port Moody City Hall, 100 Newport Dr.) at 7:30 p.m. Tickets are $40.
