Farmers fields

Grab your grocery bags and tour the vendors’ booths at the Coquitlam Farmers Market, happening from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the parking lot of Dogwood Pavilion (1655 Winslow Ave., Coquitlam).

First Walk and Roll

Join the GBS/CIDP Foundation of Canada as it hosts its first Coquitlam Walk and Roll at Town Centre Park (1299 Pinetree Way, Coquitlam) to raise awareness and educate the public about people afflicted with Guillain-Barré Syndrome, Chronic Inflammatory Demyelinating Polyneuropathy and variants. The event starts at 10 a.m. with a launch by Mayor Richard Stewart.

PoCo Saints

Grab a seat at the Port Coquitlam Community Centre (2150 Wilson Ave.) for a 3:30 p.m. lacrosse match between the Port Coquitlam Saints versus the Nanaimo Timbermen.
