White Pines gala
Port Moody Public Library’s White Pines Collection marks its fifth year. And there will be a celebration in the Inlet Theatre (inside Port Moody City Hall, 100 Newport Dr.) from 6 to 8 p.m. to mark the milestone with authors who are part of the program.

Golden year
Graduates of Port Moody Secondary (300 Albert St.) are invited to the 50th anniversary celebrations of the high school. The bash is from 6 to 8:30 p.m. Be sure to walk, cycle, take transit or car pool as parking is limited at and around the school.
