Summer Farmers Market

Get your grocery bags out and shop at the Coquitlam Farmers Market, happening from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the parking lot at Dogwood Pavilion (1655 Winslow Ave., Coquitlam), until Oct. 27, 2024. The market is courtesy of the Grow Local Society.

Rocks and gems

“Let’s Rock Again” is the title of the annual rock and gem show taking place from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the Kyle Centre in Port Moody (125 Kyle St.). The Port Moody Rock and Gem Club event features lapidary and geology displays and sales. Admission is by donation.

Makers market

Check out the handcrafted wares at the Makers Market, a craft fair supporting the Pacific Assistance Dogs Society. The market takes place at the Coquitlam Legion branch 263 (1025 Ridgeway Ave.) from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Family Day

Take your kids to Place des Arts (1120 Brunette Ave., Coquitlam) for Family Day, running from 1 to 3 p.m. at the Maillardville facility. The event is free; however, registration is encouraged. The event is in partnership with Metro Vancouver.
