Brave spaces
Dr. Satwinder Kaur Bains, the director of the South Asian Studies Institute at the University of the Fraser Valley and an associate professor in Social Cultural Media Studies at the College of Arts, will be at the City Centre branch of the Coquitlam Public Library (1169 Pinetree Way) at 6:30 p.m. as part of the Brave Spaces Speaker Series. The series aims to raise awareness of people who are from diverse groups and to share stories.

Sexy Laundry
The Arts Club on Tour presents Sexy Laundry, a play about Alice and Henry who have lost their mojo in their 25-year marriage. The show runs at 7:30 p.m. at the Evergreen Cultural Centre in Coquitlam (1205 Pinetree Way). Tickets are $52/$44/$16.
