The opening ceremonies of the BC Hockey U18 A1 Tier 1 provincial championships are on tonight in Coquitlam.

Bring your grocery bags to load up on produce and other handmade goods at the Port Moody Farmers Winter Market, happening from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the parking lot south of the Port Moody Recreation Complex (300 Ioco Rd.).

Ring of Fire

Hear the songs of Johnny Cash in a musical production from the Arts Club on Tour called Ring of Fire. The show is at 3 p.m. at the Evergreen Cultural Centre (1205 Pinetree Way, Coquitlam). Tickets are $59/$49/$16.

Opening ceremonies

Grab a seat in the Poirier Sport and Leisure Complex (633 Poirier St., Coquitlam) for the opening of the BC Hockey U18 A1 Tier 1 provincial championships. The ceremony starts at 6:15 p.m. The round-robin championships run until March 19. Tickets for a 50/50 draw are also for sale online.
