It’s the 43rd year of the Coquitlam Christmas Craft Fair and shoppers are invited to hunt for handmade holiday gifts and treats at the Poirier Forum (618 Poirier St., Coquitlam) over the weekend. Admission is $5/$3. There is no charge for kids ages 12 and under. Today’s event is from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Winter wonders
Take the family to Mackin House (1116 Brunette Ave., Coquitlam) from noon to 3 p.m. for a winter holiday festival. Organized by the Coquitlam Heritage Society, the free event includes holiday shopping, multicultural fare, entertainment and photos with Santa. No registration is required.

Tea train
Hop on the Venosta, the 1921 train car parked outside POMO Museum (2734 Murray St., Port Moody) for a holiday tea. Reserved seatings are at 11 a.m., 1 p.m. and 3 p.m. Tickets are $20/$12.

Coastal music
The Youth, DeCoro and new Chamber choirs with the Coastal Sound Music Academy perform two holiday concerts today at the Evergreen Cultural Centre in Coquitlam (1205 Pinetree Way). The Comfort & Joy shows run at 4 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. Tickets are $25/$20.
