Musicians and bands from across Canada will descend on Coquitlam in March for Festival du Bois.
And one ensemble will be marking its 50th year in the music business at the francophone fete.
The Quebec-based Yves Lambert et Le Grand Orchestre will be on the Maillardville stage to play songs of La Bottine for one show only: on Saturday, March 8 at Festival du Bois.
Running from March 7 to 9, 2025, the 36th annual music party at Mackin Park in Coquitlam will also feature the following acts:
- La Déferlance
- LeFLOFRANCO
- Kutapira
- La Patente
- Jocelyn Pettit
- Alouest
- The Sybaritic String Band
- Isabelle Kirouac
- Micah
- Will’s Jam
As well, the B.C. company Profaqua will be on hand to teach families about science through workshops.
Tickets for the Friday night dance are free. Early bird tickets for Saturday and Sunday are now for sale via the Festival du Bois website. This year, there is no entry fee for kids ages 12 and under.
Volunteers are also sought; fill out an online form.
