A herd of food trucks are migrating to the Tri-Cities this weekend to satisfy the cravings of all residents.
The Greater Vancouver Food Truck Festival is hosting its second Coquitlam community block party in five months with more than 20 vendors expected to make an appearance.
The free two-day event is considered to be the largest mobile festival in Canada.
And it follows a successful block party that was organized over the Mother's Day weekend (May 7-8).
Street meals ready to be served in Town Centre Park (1299 Pinetree Way) will range from sweet and delicious to savoury and succulent.
A beer garden and BC Shop Local marketplace will also be set up while musicians perform live as guests munch their lunch.
Organizers adds a games area and face-painting station will also be set up for kids in attendance.
The food truck festival will be on from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. tomorrow (Sept. 10) and 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Sunday (Sept. 11).
