Port Coquitlam residents with “fresh ideas and honest feedback” are invited to apply to be on the next Mayor’s Citizen Advisory Roundtable.

For the sixth year, the city is calling for candidates to step forward to offer a new perspective on civic business, services and programs in PoCo.

Successful applicants will volunteer from January 2025 to December 2026, with quarterly meetings on Monday nights (no summer meetings).

The municipality plans to have a diverse roundtable, recruiting residents — of all ages and experiences — to give advice to city council.

“The roundtable has been an invaluable source of fresh ideas and honest feedback,” said Mayor Brad West in a news release.

“Hearing from residents and businesses about their vision for Port Coquitlam is always inspiring. I’m look forward to seeing how this next group will continue to shape the future of our city.”

The deadline is Wednesday, Dec. 18, 2024, for Port Coquitlam residents to apply online. Former roundtable members can also re-apply for another term.
