Did you see a fight in this Port Coquitlam park last Friday?

Coquitlam RCMP are calling for help to identify a person of interest following a minor altercation at Gates Park on Friday, Nov. 29.

A small fight near the public washrooms in Port Coquitlam’s Gates Park last week is prompting police to issue a call for help.

Coquitlam RCMP is asking for assistance to identify a person of interest connected to the minor altercation that happened at around 11 a.m. on Friday, Nov. 29.

The person of interested is described as:

  • an Asian man
  • 50 years old
  • with a medium build

He was last seen wearing:

  • a blue baseball hat
  • a beige jacket
  • a blue shirt
  • blue pants
  • black shoes
    • carrying a small blue umbrella with a wooden handle

“We are asking anyone who may recognize this individual to contact our investigators at 604-945-1550,” said RCMP spokesperson Sgt. Alexa Hodgins in a news release.

“We are also asking anyone who may have witnesses this interaction or has additional information to contact the Coquitlam RCMP and quote file number 2024-31561.”
