Multiculturalism and eco-friendly displays joined the Vancouver Police Department's motorcycle drill team and dignitaries for the annual Rotary May Day parade last Saturday.
The 95th May Days festivities, which kicked off with the new Royal Party last week, were especially memorable for Mayor Greg Moore, who will be stepping down from politics this fall.
During his Mayor's Breakfast at the PoCo Legion — for invited guests, prior to the parade start — Moore paid tribute to city council, staff and his family and thanked them for their support during his last term.
