The deadline is nearing for Port Coquitlam children and youth to create an artwork for the city’s official Christmas card.
For the fourth year, holiday-themed drawings, paintings, multi-media and handwritten notes are sought by the municipality to feature on the card, as well in marketing materials.
Last year, the city received 30 pieces from kids that helped to spread the community spirit.
Measuring seven inches wide by five inches high, the holiday card from Mayor Brad West and council will be mailed to stakeholders, volunteers and groups in December, as well as seniors in long-term care homes.
To submit an artwork by the Sunday, Nov. 24 deadline, you can upload the horizontal image to the city’s website.
