The second week of the PNE Fair runs this week.
And several Tri-City residents are in the special performances happening around the Vancouver site to entertain the crowds.
Kenzi Knutsen, Colby Mackenzie, Georgia Kenner and Milani Hussein of Port Coquitlam are in the KC Summer Jam at the annual fair, the province’s largest ticket event that ends on Labour Day, Sept. 2.
The fair is not open today, Aug. 26.
You can catch the SuperDogs, Dueling Pianos, agricultural displays, the market and shows on the Freedom Mobile Stage. As well, you can buy tickets for the PNE Prize Home Lottery for a chance to win a 3,486 sq. ft. four-bedroom house in Langley, valued at $2.35 million.
Playland also has rides and midway games.
For this week — on Aug. 27, 28 and 29 — you can purchase two PNE Fair gate passes at 50 per cent off (tickets must be bought in multiples of two and of the same type, for a maximum of six tickets per type).
Here is the line-up for the Summer Night Concerts:
- Aug. 27 = The Commodores with The Pointer Sisters
- Aug. 28 = Flo Rida
- Aug. 29 = Blue Rodeo
- Aug. 30 = Ludacris
- Aug. 31 = Punjabi Virsa Night
- Sept. 1 = Barenaked Ladies
