To celebrate Environment Week , the Burke Mountain Naturalists will host a free guided hike this weekend on Burke Mountain.

To celebrate Environment Week, the Burke Mountain Naturalists will host a free guided hike this weekend on Burke Mountain.

Highlights of the June 9 hike will include Saw Blade Falls, views of Coquitlam Lake and an old-growth Douglas fir tree on Coho Creek.

The elevation gain is 250 m and the round-trip distance is 8 km. Participants should wear sturdy hiking boots, bring a lunch and wear appropriate clothing for this five-hour hike, which will depart at 8 a.m.
