Canoe fun at Old Orchard Park

You can take advantage of warm weather and cool water with a special event Aug. 27 in Port Moody. Pleasantside Community Association is hosting its Family Fun Canoe and Kayak Boat Festival from 1 to 4 p.m. that Saturday at Old Orchard Park.

You can take advantage of warm weather and cool water with a special event Aug. 27 in Port Moody.

Pleasantside Community Association is hosting its Family Fun Canoe and Kayak Boat Festival from 1 to 4 p.m. that Saturday at Old Orchard Park.

But early registration for canoe/kayak events starts one week earlier, on Aug. 20. Cost is $10 per person and $15 per family (includes food).
