The response from Coquitlam Fire Station 1, C-shift that my building received Saturday at 1 a.m. turned a potential disaster into a minimal situation. I believe if it wasn't for the efforts of firefighters, several owners would be out of their units, living in a hotel, myself included.
Coquitlam Fire/Rescue has been called to my building several times for a variety of reasons over the past seven years that I have lived here. The firefighters are always professional and respectful, and they get the job done.
I will always support the firefighters as they have saved my life years ago in a horrific car crash, and have saved my home from being destroyed from water damage. From the bottom of my heart, thank you for your service. Thank you for responding to every call and keeping us safe 365 days a year.
Becoming a member of the fire department is something only the bravest and most noble individuals strive for. Heroes can't be measured, they can only be thanked. Thank you, Coquitlam Fire/Rescue, for all the hours you put in to keep Coquitlam residents safe.
