Coquitlam RCMP are searching for a woman seen fleeing a car that crashed into a school in Maillardville Thursday afternoon.
The vehicle crashed into the Millside Education Centre, located at the corner of Schoolhouse Street and Brunette Avenue, at about 1:20 p.m. Nobody was hurt and there was no major damage to the school, said Cpl. Jamie Chung.
The building is home to the Suwa'lkh School, School District 43's Inquiry Hub and Coquitlam Open Learning.
Police are looking for a woman seen running from the area, heading north on Schoolhouse. She's described as a First Nations woman in her 20s, 5'8" tall with a slim build and wearing a pink jacket and black pants.
