Head to the Terry Fox Hometown Plaza behind the Port Coquitlam Community Centre (2150 Wilson Ave.) to check out the food, drinks and handmade products at the weekly Port Coquitlam Farmers Market. Running from 3 to 7 p.m., the gathering organized by the Fraser North Farmers Market Society is kid- and dog-friendly and includes live music.

Plant swap
Bring your indoor plants, propagations and cuttings to trade with others at the Coquitlam Public Library’s plant swap, happening form 6 to 8 p.m. at the Poirier branch of the Coquitlam Public Library (575 Poirier St.). The city’s Park Spark team and librarians will give away a small number of bulbs, cuttings and plants on a first-come, first-served basis.
