Diwali fest
The South Asian Collective Society stages Diwali: Festival of Lights in Port Coquitlam, starting at 10 a.m. at the Port Coquitlam Community Centre (2150 Wilson Ave.). The event includes free dance workshops, a market, cultural performances and a Hindu Darshana exhibit. Admission is free.

Heritage Halloween
It’s Alice in Scary Wonderland at Mackin House (1116 Brunette Ave., Coquitlam) for the Coquitlam Heritage Society’s Halloween party. Opening Night
