Healthy shoulders

Learn how to avoid shoulder pain with Launch Rehab in a presentation at the City Centre branch of the Coquitlam Public Library (1169 Pinetree Way). The presentation is from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. and is suitable for adults.

Sherlock Holmes

Enter the world of detective Sherlock Holmes in Baskerville, the second offering of the season by the Stage 43 Theatrical Society. Directed by Dale Kelly and written by Ken Ludwig, the play at 7:30 p.m. sees five actors portray more than 40 characters. Tickets are $30/$25.

Art reception

Meet the artists behind Interwoven Realms: A Journey Through Life, Space and Transcendence, at PoMoArts (2425 St. Johns St., Port Moody). The reception from 6 to 8 p.m. celebrates the work of Amy Wiebe Lau, Yasir Ali and Stephanie Denz. There is no charge and refreshments will be served.
