SHARE Family and Community Services will open its gift wrapping station at Coquitlam Centre mall (2929 Barnet Hwy.) on level 2 by Walmart. The fundraiser is on until Dec. 24. Register to volunteer.

Repair Café
Take your broken household items to the Repair Café where volunteers will fix your wares for free. The café runs from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Port Coquitlam public works yard (1737 Broadway St.). Donations are accepted.

Christmas crafts
It’s the 43rd year of the Coquitlam Christmas Craft Fair and shoppers are invited to hunt for handmade holiday gifts and treats at the Poirier Forum (618 Poirier St., Coquitlam) over the weekend. Admission is $5/$3. There is no charge for kids ages 12 and under. Today’s event is from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Rudolph run
Slip on your runners for the inaugural Rudolph 5-km Run in support of the SHARE food bank. The timed fun run starts at 11 a.m. from the Mundy Park field house on Hillcrest Street in Coquitlam. Registration is $45; all finishers receive a medal. The event is being organized by Coquitlam resident Daniel Simpson with the Kamino race series. Holiday costumes are optional for participants.

Wreath making
Join the Wondrous Tree Fellowship for a festive wreath- and swag-making workshop from noon to 3 p.m. at the Kinsmen Hall in Port Coquitlam (2175 Coquitlam Ave.). The cost is $25 per registered participant, which includes all materials, refreshments and hot apple cider.

Cram the cruiser
Help stuff Coquitlam RCMP police cars with non-perishable donations as part of its annual Cram the Cruiser drive for SHARE Family and Community Services, the Tri-Cities social services agency. The cruisers will be at the Real Canadian Superstore parking lot (1301 Lougheed Hwy., Coquitlam) and outside Safeway (2850 Shaughnessy St., Port Coquitlam) from noon to 4 p.m.

Wind music
Holidays is the name of the festive concert by the Pacific Symphonic Wind Ensemble, which performs at the Evergreen Cultural Centre in Coquitlam (1205 Pinetree Way) at 7:30 p.m. The 45-piece ensemble is under the baton of David Branter. Tickets are $30/$12.
