Tri-Cities residents flock to the PNE Fair on opening day

The PNE Fair opened this past weekend in Vancouver, drawing thousands of residents from across the region.

The PNE Fair opened last Saturday (Aug. 19) in Vancouver, drawing thousands of residents from across the region.

This year's end-of-summer tradition includes:

  • The SuperDogs
  • Knights of Valour jousting show
  • The Flying Fools High Dive Show
  • Dueling Pianos
  • Monet art exhibit

Visitors can also see the agricultural displays, cooking demonstrations and Summer Night Concerts.

Admission to the Fair, which is not open on Mondays, is as follows: 

  • adult gate pass (ages 19 to 64: $20 in advance/$25 at the gate
  • senior gate pass (ages 65 and up): $14 in advance/$16 at the gate
  • youth gate pass (ages 13 to 18): $14 in advance/$16 at the gate
  • child gate pass (ages four to 12): $7 in advance/$9 at the gate

There is no charge for kids ages three and under.

Ride passes aren't included with the gate admission, and entry isn't included with the ride passes.
