Thrifty Foods has launched its annual Food For Families in-store voucher program to benefit 16 B.C. food banks this holiday season.
Customers can add either $5, $10, or $20 Food for Families vouchers to their grocery order, with the funds going towards fresh groceries for families in need, including those living in the Tri-Cities.
In 2011, the Food For Families fundraiser provided $206,000 to local food banks and has provided over $800,000 since the program began.

"The Food For Families campaign is just one of many ways that Thrifty Foods and their customers have demonstrated their dedication to making the holiday season brighter for children and families in the Tri-Cities.
