Telephone town hall tonight, tomorrow on transit referendum

Tonight, Port Coquitlam Mayor Greg Moore will be joining New Westminster Mayor Jonathan Cote for a telephone town hall meeting, where people can dial in to listen in and get their questions answered.

Tomorrow, Wednesday, Coquitlam Mayor Richard Stewart will field questions on what the transit referendum means to citizens in the Tri-Cities.

The phone ins take place between 7-8 p.m.

Broadcaster Bill Good will host.

The mail-in ballot, asking people whether they support a 0.5% regional sales tax to fund transit, will start going out to homes March 16.
