Coquitlam RCMP need the public's assistance in identifying a man believed to have been filming a family in a change room at the Poirier Sport & Leisure Complex in Coquitlam last month.

A supsected voyeur at the Poirier Sport & Leisure Complex has been arrested, Coquitlam RCMP report.

In a press release issued Friday, RCMP thanked the public for its assistance and said no further information was available because of a publication ban.

The release followed up an earlier request for the public to help them identify a young man whom they believe was watching a family change at a local swimming pool.

On the evening of Sept. 9 the family was using a change room at the Poirier Sport & Leisure Complex when they noticed someone using a cell phone to record them through the opening between the floor and the bottom of the cubicle divider.

After getting dressed the victim notified a staff member of the incident; staff confronted the man and he left the complex.
