A little jail-and-bail fun is taking place at Coquitlam Centre mall Thursday, June 20 to help Share Family and Community Services stock the shelves for food hampers.
From noon to 6 p.m. next week in the north east parking lot, the Share Bear will be pleading for donations to get out of his predicament after he was caught looking for food in all the wrong places. Share is looking to raise $10,000 in bail money to free him and 10,000 pounds of food to get him through the summer.
All proceeds from the event will go to the Share Food Bank, which helps thousands of individuals and families throughout the year.
