Port Coquitlam's inaugural Parade of Lights made its way though the downtown core on Saturday, December 14.
The parade of lit-up vehicles, including a couple of snowplows, a Lafarge cement truck and a zamboni, began and ended at the Port Coquitlam Community Centre and was followed by free skate and holiday-themed arts and crafts.
The first edition of the event was not without its hiccups, as several cars encountered the parade head on, intercepting it on Kelly Ave.
