Dancers now have a new home away from home in Port Coquitlam with the opening of the Live Love Dancewear dance apparel store.
Owner Janet Nacario, a mother of two younger dancers aged 11 and 13, has been involved in the Tri Cities dance community as a 'Dance Mom' for over five years and felt the time was ripe for a store catering to dancers' needs. "Resources for dance supplies are very limited in our area," Nacario said.
After researching this niche market and the industry, Nacario opened Live Love Dancewear at 110-3200 Westwood St. A grand opening will be held Sunday, Oct. 16 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. for all dancers, their friends and families. There will be hot dogs, goodie bags, an art table, stage make-up and hair demonstrations, sale items, and lots of prizes donated by dance vendors such as Body Wrappers, Lexi Luu, Ainsliewear, Move Athletics, and Limeapple.
The first 50 customers will receive a free Body Wrappers re-usable tote with a special gift inside.
