Port Coquitlam residents will soon hear a wide variety of sounds percolating from north of downtown.
Music in the Park is returning to Lions Park with two free summer concerts over the next three weeks, including one this Saturday (July 29), as part of the city's seasonal engagement.
The outdoor all-ages events are set to feature a diverse group of professional and award-winning musicians, both of genre and culture, based out of Metro Vancouver in hopes of providing something for everyone.
This includes R&B and soulful beats to rock, pop and a multitude of international music.
Music in the Park is set for July 29 and Aug. 12 from 2 to 5 p.m. in Lions Park (2300 Lions Way) and interested patrons are encouraged to bring their own lawn chairs and blankets.
Umbrellas are also suggested as the concerts will take place rain or shine.
For more information, you can visit the City of Port Coquitlam's website.
