Letter: Restrictions needed for all non-licensed electric transportation

This letter writer believes those who use e-scooters and e-bikes should adhere to the rules of the road.

Responding to this story, I agree the fine is excessive.

What about all the people riding — at excessive speed — on electric bikes and scooters and, may I add, with no helmets? 

On a daily basis, I see young teens riding their bikes or scooters to school.

They are on the wrong side of the road; they do not stop at stop signs and just fly through.

If you're going to put in restrictions, it should be for all electric transportation (non-licensed).
