Re: Street name for new Coquitlam neighbourhood is 'colonial': Hodge (Aug. 6, 2024)
As a member of the Indigenous community, I find it ridiculous and laughable that Coquitlam Coun. Craig Hodge and Coun. Trish Mandewo are expending any energy trying to "protect" me and members of my community by removing the word "Coronation" from a new road in my city.
In fact, I find it very insulting.
With all the issues that all of us are facing these days — inflation, housing shortages, crime, drugs, etc. — you would think that Coun. Hodge and Coun. Mandewo could find better uses for their time.
