Do you want to spend time poking fun at all the ups and downs of life — especially middle age?
Middle Raged, a comedy about life between the age of 30 to 65, performed by comedians Geri Hall and Gary Pearson might be the show for you.
The show, played at the Evergreen Cultural Centre on Sunday, Oct. 29 at 7:30 p.m., will explore the time of life when you're running out of time, according to a news release.
And the night will feature scenes about couples dealing with the madness of middle-aged life — from the madness of childrearing to financial stresses, dealing with aging parents, going to more funerals than weddings and trying "Outlander-style" role play to keep the romance alive.
Hall, a Gemini award winner for her role as a regular on This Hour Has 22 Minutes, will appear alongside Pearson, best known as a writer for shows such as MadTV, 22 Minutes, Corner Gas, JFL All Access and Sunnyside, which he co-created.
Pearson has also won the Writer's Guild Award and Canadian Screen Award and has been nominated for multiple Canadian Screen and Gemini Awards.
Previously, Hall and Pearson were both on the second city Toronto main stage and combined have extensive backgrounds in comedy.
The duo recently appeared at Toronto Fringe and had a sold-out run of four performances at the Oakville Centre, according to the show's website.
Tickets, priced at $37 for adults, $34 for seniors and $16 for students including post-secondary, can be purchased online or by calling the box office at 604-927-6555.
