There's one gas station in the Tri-Cities that might be busier than others today, Sept. 6.

But once again, the line-up of vehicles will include someone with a special red, blue and white card.

Costco's gas bar in Port Coquitlam is offering $1.68 per litre, as of this publication, according to GasBuddy.com's latest report (see list below).

That's the third cheapest price in all of Metro Vancouver, but is four cents more than the $1.64 per litre posted two weeks ago, Aug. 23.

It's two cents behind $1.66 per litre offered at several stops through the region, including Mobil and Real Canadian Superstore on SE Marine Drive in Vancouver.

However, Costco is the only Tri-City station with a price of less than $1.70 per litre.

As a result, the median for Coquitlam, Port Coquitlam and Port Moody motorists ahead of the weekend is currently set at $1.75 per litre.

Meanwhile, the most affordable gas in B.C. is within driving distance of the Tri-Cities, if you're willing to make the trip north of the Fraser.

GasBuddy.com says the Centex and GOMarket in Dewdney — east of Mission — is selling fuel for $1.53 per litre, located 65 km along Lougheed Highway.

Seven of the top 10 cheapest gas stations in the province are in the Okanagan, ranging from $1.55 to $1.58 per litre.
