Heritage Woods Secondary (Port Moody)

What are your plans after graduation? 

  • After graduation, I will attend the University of British Columbia for their Science One program.

 

What are you most proud of during your high school years?

  • I am most proud of my musical accomplishments during my high school years. I have been an active member of Heritage Wood’s Music Department and have played in groups such as the BCMEA Honour Winds Ensemble and the Surrey Jazz Festival Senior Rep Band.

 

What would you change about your high school years?

  • Looking back, I wish I had taken a wider variety of courses and electives. The school offers many resources and opportunities to learn unique skills, and I regret not taking advantage of them.

 

What does being a valedictorian mean to you?

  • Being a valedictorian means leading my graduating class in the first steps of the rest of our lives.

 

What advice do you have for the next graduation class?

  • Be kind to your peers and cherish this time you have with one another.
