Fill ‘er up, Tri-Cities: gas prices drop and Port Coquitlam Costco the cheapest—for now

Prices continue to fall across the province and the country

Gas prices continue to fall in the Tri-Cities and across Canada, dipping below $1.14 Saturday afternoon at one location in Port Coquitlam.

According to the gas-tracking website gas buddy.com, Costco’s Port Coquitlam location was offering gas at 113.9 cents per litre at around 3:45 p.m. Saturday afternoon.

Several other stations across the Tri-Cities were selling gas between the 117.4 to 119.9 cents per litre range, but none had dipped as low as Costco’s line-inducing price.

For those looking to travel a little extra for the cheapest prices in Metro Vancouver, Gas Buddy registered three stations along Barnet Highway west of Burnaby Mountain with prices dipping to 111.9 cents per litre.
