Port Coquitlam MLA Mike Farnworth will be kicking off his NDP provincial leadership campaign this weekend at Leigh Square.
The event takes place from 11 a.m. to noon Saturday at the Gathering Place, 2253 Leigh Square Pl., next to PoCo city hall, and will feature the longtime politician, his supporters, community leaders and other guests in a rally in support of his leadership bid.
So far, the only other candidate in the provincial contest is Juan de Fuca MLA John Horgan.
