Family and Mounties are becoming concerned for the well-being of a 42-year-old woman reported missing out of the Tri-Cities.
Angela Ekkert was last seen leaving a designated facility in Coquitlam on foot around 11 a.m. on Sunday, Oct. 27.
However, in a news release today, Oct. 29, RCMP said Ekkert was recently spotted in Abbotsford on Monday, Oct. 28, shortly after 10 a.m.
Ekkert was "observed on video surveillance," police explained, near the intersection of Gladwin Road and South Fraser Way in the Fraser Valley community.
Hodgins said police are now reaching out to the public in hopes of finding Ekkert.
She's described as:
- White
- 5'5"
- Medium build
- Short brown hair
- Hazel eyes
- Last seen wearing....
- Black jacket
- White cross-body purse
- Carrying a black shopping bag
