Port Coquitlam is updating its city website.
And the municipality is asking for your help with the redesign.
The current website is now seven years old and needs a fresh look to communicate better online with residents, businesses and visitors on such matters as:
- registering for a recreation program
- accessing event information
- watching council meetings
- applying for a building permit or licence
To help shape the content, residents can take a survey and have a chance to win a $150 gift card to a local business.
The deadline to apply is May 26.
Some of the questions include:
- how often do you use the city website?
- what do you search for the most?
- what improvements would you make?
As well, the city is calling for volunteers for a focus group to share ideas as the website is upgraded. To be a part of that group, enter your name at the end of the poll.
The new website will be up by December.
