Port Coquitlam resident Michael Thomas is seeking to represent PoCo on the School District 43 board of education.
Thomas is a married father of three who has volunteered on several council committees, the May Day Task Force and is a director of the PoCo Heritage Society. He is also a small business owner in the computer sector and member of the Tri-Cities Chamber of Commerce. Thomas is a familiar face to many as he helped spearhead the new PoCo Museum in Leigh Square and he also ran for Port Coquitlam City Council in 2011.
Hoping to make a difference for kids across the community, Thomas is a volunteer coach with PoCo Soccer, an executive member of the District Parent Advisory Council and also the Irvine Elementary PAC.
