An alleged drug dealer in Coquitlam who is at large is on this week’s Crime Stoppers Most Wanted list.
Christopher James Abra, 42, is wanted for possession for the purpose of trafficking in connection with a May 15, 2021, offence in the city.
A warrant for his arrest was issued on June 6, 2024.
A year earlier, Coquitlam RCMP named Abra — a Chilliwack resident — as one of seven people charged in connection with Project E-Neowise that targeted known drug traffickers in Coquitlam, Port Coquitlam, Richmond and Vancouver.
The team executed three search warrants in Coquitlam and Richmond in the spring of 2021 and four more in Coquitlam and Vancouver in December 2021 and uncovered the following items during its investigation:
- three kilograms of fentanyl
- 5.4 kilograms of cocaine
- 866 grams of methamphetamine
- about 51,000 counterfeit Xanax pills (15.3 kg)
- 1.8 kilograms of MDMA
- 828 grams of ketamine
- 100 OxyContin pills
- eight kilograms of cutting agents
- $164,455 in cash
- 12 semi-auto carbines
- 11 handguns
- various magazines and ammunition
- four vehicles with a value of $150,000
Abra is described as a white man, six feet tall with brown hair and blue eyes.
