The city of Coquitlam is seeking input from industrial and commercial property owners as part of its review and consolidation of its industrial zones.

In a press release, the city said it is hoping to replace its current nine industrial zones and consolidate them into three categories. Staff said the changes will provide a broader range of permitted actives and increase flexibility for the property user.

Industrial property owners, realtor and other stakeholders are invited to attend an information meeting on July 24 between 3 and 7 p.m. in the lobby of the Hard Rock Casino (2080 United Boulevard). Participants will be able to ask questions of staff and learn more about the industrial zoning in the city.

Those who are interested in the industrial zone review are invited to contact staff at 604-927-3476 or [email protected] . Participants can also sign up for email updates and fill out a comment sheet ahead of the July 24 information meeting at www.coquitlam.ca/industrialzones.
