Broadway Street will be closed to motorists between the Mary Hill Bypass and Industrial Avenue this weekend, as crews complete road shaping and paving works.
Local traffic will be permitted to access businesses along the route, while flagging staff will direct motorists through a signed detour.
Suggested alternate routes on March 5 and 6 include:
Kingsway Avenue from Mary Hill Bypass;
Pitt River Road from Mary Hill Bypass;
and Shaughnessy Street from Mary Hill Bypass.
The work is part of the Broadway Street reconstruction project, which is now at the 75% completion stage.
